VISITING ENGLAND, WALES, IRELAND AND SCOTLAND

Day 1 – Depart USA
Overnight flight to London.

Day 2 – Arrive London
Welcome to London! On arrival you are transfered to your London tour hotel where you are at leisure.
Hotel: Holiday Inn Kings Cross/Bloomsbury.

Day 3 – London Sightseeing
Your half day London sightseeing tour shows you all the major sights. Afternoon at leisure. (B)

Day 4 – London – Cardiff
Meet your Tour Director and head west to see Stonehenge, Salisbury Cathedral and Bath. Arrive in Cardiff, Wales in time for an orientation tour before settling into your hotel.

Day 5 – Cardiff – Waterford
Travel through South Wales to Pembroke and set sail for Ireland and your hotel. Hotel: Days. (B,D)

Day 6 – Waterford – Killarney
See Reginald’s Tower and the Waterford city walls before visiting the Waterford Crystal showroom. A scenic drive leads you to Blarney, where you can kiss the famous Blarney Stone to get the ‘gift of the ‘gab’, before taking you on to your hotel in Killarney.

Day 7 – Ring of Kerry Excursion
See some of the finest scenery in Ireland as you travel the Ring of Kerry, discovering a world of seascapes, towering cliffs and lush lakelands. (B)

Day 8 – Killarney – Dublin
Travel via Adare to Limerick, and take an orientation tour of the city. See the Rock of Cashel as you journey on to the Irish capital, Dublin.
Hotel: Montrose. (B)

Day 9 – Dublin Sightseeing
A guided city tour shows you the elegant Georgian squares and the impressive Dublin Castle. Later, see the home of the Irish President in Phoenix Park, Customs House, statue-lined O’Connell Street and Trinity College. Spend an afternoon at leisure shopping or simply getting to know the locals. (B)

Day 10 – Dublin – Chester Area
Take the ferry across to Wales, and drive back into England to see Chester’s black and white ‘Rows’, the fabulous city walls and the cathedral before settling into your hotel for the night.

Day 11 – Chester Area – Edinburgh
Drive through the Lake District, an area so beautiful it has inspired a host of writers, including children’s author Beatrix Potter and the poet William Wordsworth, whose grave you will visit in the village of Grasmere. Cross the border into Scotland, a land of tartan and bagpipes, and travel to the Scottish capital - Edinburgh for our two night stay.

Day 12 – Edinburgh at Leisure
After a local guide shows you the highlights of the city, including the castle, you will have free time to relax and explore the city on your own. (B)

Day 13 – Edinburgh – Glasgow
This morning a short journey brings you to the thriving commercial city of Glasgow with time to explore this afternoon.
Hotel: Erskine Bridge. (B)

Day 14 – Glasgow – Leeds
Pass ruined Jedburgh Abbey on your way to the ancient city of York, where you will see the Shambles and York Minster before continuing to Leeds. Hotel: Jurys Inn. (B,D)

Day 15 – Leeds – London
Visit Coventry Cathedral before reaching Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon en route to London. Hotel: Holiday Inn Kings Cross/Bloomsbury. (B)

Day 16 – Return to USA
Your memorable tour ends after breakfast with a transfer to the airport. (B)
