A locally hosted week in London that combines the freedom of the city with the convenience of a coach tour. You will enjoy the finest sightseeing the capital has to offer, as well as day trips to places like Stonehenge, Bath, Leeds Castle.

Day 1 - DEPART USA.

Overnight flight to London.

Day 2 - ARRIVE LONDON.

Welcome to London! After checking in to the tour hotel, time to relax or explore. In the evening you are invited to an informative meeting and Welcome Drink with your Insight local host.

Day 3 - LONDON SIGHTSEEING.

On your London sightseeing tour, stop in Parliament Square for a guided walking tour to observe Big Ben and Westminster Abbey. Continue along Whitehall pastDowning Street to Trafalgar Square. Another guided walk takes you along the Mall, to see Buckingham Palace and the Changing of the Guard (if operating*). Lastly, drive past Green Park and the Ritz, to finish in the heart of the West End. The rest of the day is yours to explore at your own pace. (B)

Day 4 - LEEDS CASTLE AND CANTERBURY.

Head out into the peaceful Kent countryside to visit Leeds Castle, rising like a jewel from its own lake. After time to explore the castle and its grounds, depart for Canterbury Cathedral where Thomas Becket was murdered in 1170. Then see Dover Castle, overlooking the English Channel and the famous White Cliffs of Dover. Finally, continue to Greenwich to join a Thames cruise back to the centre of London. (B)

Day 5 - LONDON AT LEISURE

The day is yours to explore London's green parks, shops, museums and art galleries, and discover why London is Europe's most popular tourist centre. Once night falls, consider taking a show in the heart of London's famous West End. (B)

Day 6 - WINCHESTER, STONEHENDGE AND BATH.

Drive west to Winchester, with it's 11th century Cathedral. Then visit pre- historic Stonehenge whose awe-inspiring monoliths are reputed to be over 4,000 years old. Continue to the fine city of Bath. Sightseeing includes a visit to the Roman Baths and Pump Room, and a panoramic coach and walking tour of the elegant Georgian buildings. (B)

Day 7 - LONDON AT LEISURE

Explore the city at your own pace. Ask for suggestions on additional London sightseeing when booking. If shopping is your thing, try Harrods, or the department stores of Oxford Street. (B)

Day 8 - RETURN TO USA.

The tour ends after breakfast. Airport shuttle service available. (B)
